Saville Medical Group is a research active practice. All treatment, care and support delivered in the NHS is shaped by clinical research. Taking part in clinical research offers our patients the opportunity to make a difference by helping to improve treatments for health conditions and quality of life, both now and in the future.
We aim to offer our patients the opportunity to support health research into health conditions that they care about. We are able to participate in clinical research with the support of the research and development team at our GP federation, Newcastle GP Services. You can read more about their team here.
From time to time, you may be contacted to be offered the opportunity to participate in research projects that the practice has enrolled with. It is always completely optional, and your decision to join or not will never affect any aspect of your care at the practice or within the NHS.
