GP letters are not a legal requirement for international travel, and any requests for these may be subject to a fee.
If you are unable to access the NHS app, you can request a brief summary from the practice. Any further questions should be directed to the airline you are travelling with.
Make sure you plan your vaccinations well in advance as you may need a course of vaccinations and these can take some months to complete. We advise you to book your travel injections as soon as possible after booking your holiday; we recommend booking up around 8-12 weeks before you travel.
Saville Medical Group does not prescribe benzodiazepines for fear of flying.
We are often asked to prescribe benzodiazepines (e.g. diazepam, temazepam, lorazepam) for fear of flying. We have agreed a practice policy that we will no longer prescribe these drugs for fear of flying.
